A high-quality blend by Tsuji, perfectly combining three cultivars—Asahi, Saemidori, and Samidori.
Full-bodied in taste with an intense, elegant aroma, this matcha is regarded as a signature expression of the Tsuji brand.

This authentic matcha is grown in Tsuji’s own tea gardens.
The tea farmer has been awarded at the National Tea Competition of Japan.
In addition, matcha cultivated by Tsuji is selected and used by many renowned tea houses and pâtisseries throughout Japan.

About Tsuji (Tsuji-sensei):
A Uji tea farmer in Kyoto, Tsuji-sensei is one of Japan’s leading tencha growers and producers.
Teas cultivated from his gardens have earned numerous top regional and national honors over the years, including awards at the Kansai Tea Competition and the National Tea Competition.

Only carefully selected organic fertilizers are used, providing the tea plants with approximately twice the nutrients of typical tea gardens, allowing them to develop a richer umami.
To preserve freshness, harvesting is carried out step by step under a 95% shading rate—around 10% higher than average.
Following traditional Uji cultivation methods, the tea is harvested only once a year.
During the harvest season, each leaf is hand-picked with the utmost care by skilled tea harvesters.
