Kabusecha

Kubusencha is a tea between Gyokuro and Sencha. It is the same as Gyokuro, it needs to be covered during the period when sprouts are growing, but Gyokuro needs to be shielded from sunlight for at least 20 days, while Kubusencha only needs to be shielded from sunlight for 7-10 days. Because the sprouts are not exposed to sunlight when they grow, the green color of the tea becomes darker, the astringency is reduced, and the umami taste increases.

Kubusencha is suitable for people who don't like bitterness. Although it doesn't have the strong and sweet flavor of Gyokuro, it is softer and less bitter than sencha.

The lower-priced kakusencha is similar to sencha, and the higher-priced one is similar to gyokuro. It has a more mellow taste and appears bright green.
