創業於永禄年間(西元1558-1570年間)，是在宇治超過450年歷史的老茶鋪，為正宗「上林春松」。
江戸時代德川幕府初期，德川家康敕封上林春松家為御茶師之中最高位的「御物御茶師」。
「上林春松本店」擁有超過450年的自家宇治茶園，種植及提供高質素嚴選的宇治茶及宇治抹茶。
而茶銘亦充滿著歷史意義，數百年沿用著下來，宇治茶風味傳統。
