Hekisuien Matcha Houju


This is the finest matcha made from the first harvest tea leaves in Kyoto Prefecture, ground 100% using a stone mill.

It is the highest-grade matcha from the  brand, made from hand-picked, stone-ground tea leaves that have won awards at various Japanese tea competitions. The primary variety is Asahi.

The matcha has a rich, sweet flavor and a fragrant, elegant aroma with a floral richness. The color is a vibrant green.
