This is matcha made from the first harvest of tea in Kyoto Prefecture, 100% stone-ground.

Single-Variety Matcha: Variety - Narino

Narino Premium: Limited edition, only 180 tins available.This "Narino Premium" matcha, used in the national tea competition of Japan that year and awarded the highest score, is specially sold to the public.It is a proud creation of Horii Shichimeien. A very top-quality matcha.It has a very rich and deep flavor, making it a truly unique matcha.With a rich and delicate aroma, it has a distinctive sweet, creamy flavor.Compared to the regular Narino (black box), its characteristics are a richer, creamier taste, and a more concentrated umami.Its sweetness content is twice that of other brands.

Home-Grown Tea Variety Narino:"Narino Premium" won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award (first place) at the 2010 National Tea Competition in Japan."Narino Premium" won 9th place (first grade) at the 2020 National Tea Competition in Japan."Narino Premium" won the Best Award in the matcha category at the 2020 Japanese Tea Selection Paris, receiving international recognition.
